Continuing at Guelph...

“Having completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, one of the biggest reasons why I chose to return for my graduate studies was because of our amazing faculty. Being surrounded by professors who have gone (and continue to go) out of their way to support my development as a student, makes my experience at Guelph positive and memorable.”

About My Advisor...

“Over the past year and a half, I have developed a great relationship with my advisor and can honestly say that I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. Aside from always being there to answer any of my questions or steer me in the right direction when I need guidance, she has provided me with opportunities that I never dreamed I would have as a graduate student, which have tremendously enhanced my skill set and helped to prepare me for my future career.”

About the City...

“Even though Guelph is a city, it still has a small-town atmosphere and offers a strong sense of community. Having lived here as a student for the past five and a half years, I am still discovering all of the great things this city has to offer!”

About My Program...

“There is a strong sense of community among graduate students in my department, allowing all of us to learn and grow as researchers in a supportive and non-competitive atmosphere. ”

My Future Plans...

“After graduating, I plan on applying for a dietetic internship position to obtain my Registered Dietitian credentials, and would like to go on to practice as a clinical/research dietitian. ”
