Who is Canada’s Favourite 3MT Presenter?

Now is your chance to vote for Canada’s Choice in the national 3Minute Thesis competition.

Visit the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies 3MT page for videos of the 11 finalists chosen from regional competitions.  Voting is open between noon Pacific Time on May 15 and noon Pacific Time May 25, 2015.

You don’t have to be a student to participate.

Please share the 3MT link with your friends and colleagues and encourage them to vote. It is a great way to show the accomplishments and contributions graduate students make to Canada.

UofG 3MT Winner - Meghan Yip

Congratulations to the UofG 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) winner, Meghan Yip. Meghan will be representing UofG at the provincial competition on April 23rd, 2015 at Western University.

This event provides the opportunity for new graduate students starting in the Summer term to learn more about what it means to be a graduate student, receive tips on how to succeed in graduate school, become aware of services available on campus and meet other students.

There is no cost for this event. Coffee, tea, juice and muffins will be served.

School of Computer Science - Graduate Studies Open House - March 19th

Are you intersted in learning more about the Graduate Programs offered by the School of Computer Science, at the University of Guelph? The SoCS invites you to join them for their March Graduate Open House.

OGS - Limited Operations - February 11-12

The Office of Graduate Studies will be open in a limited capacity only on Wednesday, February 11th and Thursday February 12th, as staff will be away from the office for training purposes. On these days, the OGS front counter will be open for minor questions and submission of forms. We will reopen and with normal operation on Friday February 13th.

Taniesha Burke (PhD Candidate, Family Relations & Applied Nutrition) shares her story on the Jamaican Television show, Profile with Ian Boyne. The aim, to inspire and motivate viewers by highlighting success stories of Fellow Jamaicans.
